Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Neurovia Systems Inc to explain what ShipBoost collects, how it is used, and what the storefront widget does on your shoppers' browsers.

Who we are

ShipBoost is operated by Neurovia Systems Inc ("we", "us"). You can reach us at any time at contact@accessneurovia.com.

Merchant account data we collect

When you create a ShipBoost account we store:

  • Your email address and authentication record, handled by our managed authentication provider. We never store your password in readable form.
  • If you sign in with Google, the basic profile and email address Google returns. Nothing else from your Google account.
  • Your store name, storefront domain, platform (Shopify, WooCommerce or custom) and plan tier.
  • The bar configurations you create: messages, thresholds, colours, fonts, timer settings, targeting rules and call-to-action links.

What the storefront widget collects (and what it does not)

The ShipBoost widget runs in your shoppers' browsers. It collects no shopper-level or personally identifiable data. It does not read names, email addresses, order contents, payment details or IP-based profiles, and it does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Cart totals are the only shopper-side value the widget reads. Your storefront passes the total to window.ShipBoost.setCartTotal(), the widget uses it to draw the progress bar in the browser, and the value is never transmitted to our servers.

Browser local storage

For evergreen countdown timers, the widget writes one local storage entry per bar, named shipboost:<bar_id>. Its only content is a timestamp marking when that visitor first saw the bar, so the countdown stays consistent as they move between pages.

  • It contains no identifier for the visitor, and cannot be used to recognise them elsewhere.
  • It stays on the visitor's device and is never sent to ShipBoost or to you.
  • Clearing browser storage removes it, and the timer simply starts fresh.

Fixed-date timers do not use local storage at all. We use no other cookies or storage on your storefront.

Analytics

Performance figures in your dashboard are aggregate daily counters per bar: impressions, clicks and goal unlocks. Each record holds a bar reference, a date and those counts. There are no user identifiers, session identifiers, device fingerprints or per-visitor rows behind them.

How we use this information

  • To authenticate you and show you only your own stores, bars and analytics.
  • To serve your active bar configurations to storefronts you have marked live.
  • To calculate the aggregate performance figures shown in your dashboard.
  • To respond when you contact support.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train advertising or profiling systems.

Storage, access and retention

Data is stored in our managed cloud backend and transmitted over encrypted connections. Access controls scope every account to its own records, so one merchant cannot read another's stores, bars or analytics.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you delete a bar, its configuration and associated analytics records are removed. When you ask us to close your account, we delete the associated stores, bars and analytics.

Your requests

You can export, correct or delete your data, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing contact@accessneurovia.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Because the widget holds no shopper-level data, we cannot look up information about an individual shopper. There is none to look up.

Changes to this policy

If we change how ShipBoost handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will also be sent to the email address on your account.
